He was my best friend, but we were definitely something more than that before he went off to college, after all, you don't cuddle and kiss someone constantly if it's not. At least, that's what I though.. before he left me to fed for myself. Now, I'm going to be started the fall semester at his school. His parents offer to drive me up to school, since their cabin is just a few hours outside of it. Little do I know it's all a set up to try and get Michael and I to date. Drama and Romance is an absolute guarantee!

Why do bad things happen to good people? A question that his boy is making himself more then ever this days. From the beginning we see a 17 year old boy, struggling to finish high School, filled up with insecurities, mental health issues, a toxic family home, and impossible standards to live up to. He has learn to not only hate his life, but to want finish it off as fast as possible. Close to finally graduating high school his English teacher, Mr Steve, assigns the class a special progect. "To be able to see life through different eyes, and write about it." For this, Mr Steve gets his class to assist a hospital 3 times a week, and assigns each student, with a patient. This is the moment where this boy meets Royal, a cancer sick 17 year old girl, that has lived in a hospital her hole life, but still finds beauty and meaning in it. Through out the report the boy gets more and more involved in Royal's life, spending unfortunately moments together. But through out the journey he asks himself more and more.
