His green eyes looked deeply into mine. A tear fell down my chin as I glanced down.

"No. Please don't do this, Harry. Please."

He caressed my cheeks comfortingly. "It's going to be okay, Violet. We can make it out alive, together," he said and kissed my forehead as I nodded against his sweet, delicate lips.
