After John brutally beat the safe house once, he stopped caring.
He had already lost his best friend and didn't really have the energy to care about anything. After his third and fourth year finished at Wellston, he spent the summer at New Bostin with his Dad.
During the summer, he made amends with Claire and Adrion. After that, he went back to Wellston to go into the top university... Wellston University.
Unbeknownst to him, the rest of the royals also decided going to the best university was a good idea.

Urging John to reveal his power and help him break the distance, he does everything in his power to bring John, not into the hierarchy, but to accept himself and his past. John and Sera still stick around Wellston as they have been hired as Ability Tutors ( because Wellston wants to remain number 1 so they would tutor others to master their ability ). Two teens enroll hiding a secret ability that many want control of. With fake manipulations of other dimensions and weird ability histories nothing seems real anymore until one of them ultimately stops these people from creating choas.
