"Men are confusing." Yes, but they're sure good at getting what they want.. Regardless of what you allow them to have. "How dare you say something so compellingly sweet to my face.. it's not like you, Chandler. Don't try to kiss me. For a matter of fact, don't get near my face. Period." Jeanette isn't convinced of Chandler's spontaneous sweetness. He's never showed compassion towards her, or anyone, for that matter. He's a rebel. He's awfully rude to everyone. Why should Jeanette trust him just because of his sweet talk? Words don't mean anything, and Chandler's words especially don't mean a thing.

What is going on with him? I did not know what to say... yes... no...? "Answer me!!" his grasp tightened, forcing me to say something. "Brent please..." my eyes filled up with tears, but still holding it back. He abruptly let off and turned around, leaving me near the cliff. I felt my tears running down my cheeks. I couldn't stand anymore and just sat there looking at the waves which were hitting the cliff. He never was acting like that towards me, being strange, but why now? What changed him?
