Slow, yet ragged breaths resonated in the hot, humid air, an uneven sound of a crunch of broken pavement following it every few seconds.
It's clothes were dirty and tattered, holes that were small and round lined it's shirt and pants. It didn't take a genius to figure out what had caused them though.
And every once in a while, it would groan, the horrid sound gurgling in its throat.
George shook his head, frowning at the sight. They used to be human. He didn't want to hurt them, but he knew they would hurt him if given the chance.
