Two twins: Emily and Eleanor Queens. Emily and Eleanor are both sisters attending Wilson Heights High School in their sophomore year. Even though they look the same, their personalities couldn't be anymore different.

Emily is the popular, pretty one. She's the twin with all the friends and all the looks. She's the popular girl who everyone wants to be like, and most importantly, the one everyone FOLLOWS.

Her sister on the other hand isn't as lucky. Even though Eleanor's sister is the most popular girl in school, she couldn't be any more invisible. She has a few friends and some people recognize her, but only because of her sister. She may even be quiet, but don't get her wrong, she's knows how to throw a party.

Even though these two are polar opposites and hate each other, can they withstand the obstacles ahead of them? Or will their relationship continue to dissolve into a pool of hate and envy?

After an accident in eighth grade, Louisa Kelley was blind. Every day was a struggle for her as she tried to adjust to life both at school and at home, but life got easier with practice. As soon as Louisa entered high school, things had changed for the worse. The students around her bullied her because she was different, harassing her, stealing her things, and talking about her behind her back, making an already difficult life so much harder. Now in her junior year of high school, Louisa is broken and without anyone to call a friend. She eventually decides to remove herself from the bullies that surround her daily and be home schooled. That is, until she met Alex. Alex Mirren was born deaf, but when he was six years old, he received a cochlea implant that allowed him to hear. Even after the ten years of speech therapy where he had to teach himself how to hear, Alex prefers to stay in the silence and only communicates with the world when necessary. Life seemed dull to him as he was stuck in between two worlds of silence and noise, not knowing his purpose or place in society. That is, until he saw a girl with a walking stick in the hallways. Louisa and Alex weren't made for each other. Although the very presence of each other gives them new hope and strength, things are difficult as Louisa thrives by using her hearing, while Alex shies away from sound and uses sight. Without being able to communicate easily, they must learn to overcome the barrier of the silence between them, which is easier said than done. But aren't the struggles worth it to be with that one person that means everything?

Dakota is just like every other 17 year old high school senior. Or that's what everyone thinks. Everyone sees Dakota as this funny, sarcastic, and caring girl. What people don't see is how much she is truly suffering inside. People don't know that the smile she always wears is completely fake. They don't know what's really going on at home. They don't see the bruises she has to cover up every morning. They don't see her having to step up to take care of her two younger siblings. She puts on a fake smile as soon as she walks through the school doors and slowly builds her walls up higher as each day goes on. She thinks no one will ever see past her facade...that is, until three new bad boys come strolling into town taking an automatic interest in Dakota. And one certain bad boy can read her like an open book. Will Dakota eventually let these three bad boys in? Or will she keep everything in until she finally reaches her breaking point?
