Clover, a young bobcat kitten, knows she is in for something big in her life. From the very start when her and her siblings clamber out of the birth den, she knows she is different. Her ambitions lead her to a mountain lion who murders her mother, leaving her and her siblings to fend for themselves at only three months. Through a sequence of events, Clover finds herself far from her home and family when it is struck by natural disaster, and she is the only one that can save them.

The choices of the brave and the mistakes of the frightened, will shape the forest with unsteady paws and claws that rain blood Honeypaw and Falconpaw are thriving in SunClan, slowly learning their own destinies and futures.
