Finding One's Self/ the Theme of Self-Knowledge in Austen's 'Pride & Prejude'

Hey guys 🥰,
Here are my views and thoughts on the theme of finding one's self/ self-knowledge in Jane Austen's 19th century novel 'Pride and Prejudice'. I am writing about this purely because I love this book and felt the need to explore this theme within it. All of what I have written is said by me, otherwise if it's not I shall quote who has e.g. any critics. I haven't done a tonne of research for what I have written, this is just me whipping out my tablet and writing because I feel like it. I have not studied this text like I would at A-level, I just read and really enjoyed it. Feel free to comment, vote and follow to help a gal out 🤗 I may come back to edit/ add more when I feel like it once it's already been published. If there are any spelling mistakes, I do apologise, I'm not the best at noticing them x

What Nobody Knew
"Elizabeth, we have more stores to get to, so if you please.'" Came Mr. Knight's impatient voice from the other side of the door. I still wasn't used to him calling me by my first name, but since he used it this morning, he hasn't gone back to the previous "Miss Bennet". I sighed before stepping out of the dressing room. "Sir, I'm not so sure about this one..." I trailed off, while giving a slight twirl so he could see the whole dress. When I looked up, Mr. Knight's eyes were roaming over every inch of my form. I could feel the heat rushing towards my face and a funny tingling feeling settling in my stomach. Why did he have to look at me like that? It was almost like he wanted to... No, this was Mr. Knight, he wouldn't be looking at me like that... and I was most definitely not excited at the mere thought of it. No, in fact, I was uncomfortable, so uncomfortable that I wished I had something to cover myself up with. But, it seemed that I forgot how to operate my legs and was now glued to the spot. Mr. Knight cleared his throat, looking away from me and avoiding eye contact al together. "Uhm, yes... I think you might be right. Let's try another one." He pulled out his phone and started scrolling through it. That was strange. Was Mr. Knight actually uncomfortable? ... This is a Pride and Prejudice retelling where Mr. Darcy is a rich CEO and Elizabeth his over-qualified PA. May contain some mature scenes. Crushed Underneath the Surface
For years, I've been writing in silence, creating worlds, characters, and stories that lived only in the margins of my notebooks and tucked-away folders on my computer. Writing has always been my escape, something I've done for myself-a way to step out of reality for a moment and breathe through the lives of the people I've imagined. I've written and rewritten countless stories, always hesitant to share them, never quite confident enough to let anyone else peek into the depths of my mind. It's always felt like just a hobby, something personal, something safe. But deep down, I've carried a quiet dream of becoming a writer, even though it felt a little foolish to hope for something so big. Now, after pouring myself into this story for what feels like a lifetime, I've finally done it-I've uploaded all my chapters to Wattpad, sharing this piece of me with the world. I know I still have so much to learn, and I'm always striving to get better, but I would truly appreciate any feedback-good, constructive criticism that can help me grow. The Royal Despise (Completed)
"You intoxicate me, you filled up every single one of my thoughts to an extend that I actually didn't want you to die" Soo this is me but like 3 years (??) later and I have to say I wrote this when I was like 12/13 so there's that andd if you know me irl, pretend you never saw or read this. This book mainly just revolves around Hermione and her need to save her kingdom, even though there will be dramione moments I can't promise it to be all about romance Monarchy still persists and kings and queens rule the lands. After the war between the kingdoms, each of the kingdom decided to sign a treaty and form a union. The royalty, including the princes and princesses, are...special. Magic runs in their veins, making them witches and wizards. But the people did not fear them, for they knew that both good and bad witches and wizards existed and their rulers were anything but evil....atleast some of time. Hogwarts:- school for royalty, that also taught the princes and princesses how to control and use their magic, was a boarding school that royalty attended from many places around the world. Including the golden trio. When the school year comes to an end and many of the prince's and princesses are weighed down by the pressure of ascending the throne, Draco and Hermione has their own little problem. What is this problem? That is for me to know and you to find out _ So this is my first time writing, and I apologise beforehand for any kind of mistakes I make. Also I constantly look back at my chapters and make a lot of improvements and edits to fill up plot holes here and there. Sorry if that bugs you. Where, When, and Why?
I DO NOT OWN HARRY POTTER! (just a fan who wanted to make a fanfic about this ship...) Synopsis : ) Harry Potter, the-boy-who-lived has had enough of everything that has happened to him. His so called 'friends' and 'teachers' have always tried to used him in something he never wanted part of, People hunting him down everywhere, A memory from his parents show that they never intended to have him in the first place, and the Dursley's just make everything worse, 'It hurts, everything hurts so much. I just wanted to be left alone' All I've ever wanted was... After making his plan of escape, He ran, as far as his legs could, Harry took the time-turner and his belongings and just... ran, far enough from everyone. Tom Riddle, a Half-blood Parselmouth entering his first year in Hogwarts filled with curiosity and wonder, but most of all hatred for everyone. Mistreated by muggles and looked down upon by his own kind because of blood status 'I will be better and leave them all in the dust, and so his quest for knowledge and power began. What were to happen if these two opposites meet, a boy who wants nothing and a boy who wants everything. Would they go in the same path as before or will they forge a new one?
