Kayden would very much like to leave the past where it belongs. The fact that he could see ghosts made that a herculean task in itself. When a woman who can see the ghosts as well shows up on his doorstep, all his hopes of living a normal life were dashed.

He is thrown into a world of magic and chaos, training to defend the Earth from creatures of another world. Before he can even complete his studies, thousands of lives are dropped into his lap.
