What was it with me? After the summer, everything anyone says hits differently. Everything Cole says hits differently. He could feel his cheeks getting pinker by the second. Hopefully, Cole will just think it is an effect of the heat, Grayson thought flustered while looking away.

Grayson goes back to campus after his summer break in England. He sees his friends again, the presence of Cole feels different.
Cole, Nico, and Leo are on the school swimming team. Grayson sketches them and finds himself staring at Cole's body.

Grayson starts to fascinate about Cole in a way he never did before.

Parties, drunkenness, conflicts, and romances arise in this friendgroup, some actions they might regret.

PS. There are also three girls in the friend group: Jane, Leo's girlfriend, Poppy, Cole's ex-girlfriend and still part of the friend group, and Hailey, the new addition to the friend group, who has got an eye on Grayson.
