When Adrian and Alex meet accidentally, they learn that they will soon compete in the same street race for the same prize, as the race gets closer so do the pair. Adrian and Alex secretly fall for each other but don't take any chances when they find out they have opposite intentions. Alex wants to open a portal, however, that would result in an opening in time, allowing an evil entity to enter the human realm through the portal and attempt to grasp universal power.
