Raven Black was a sweet kind hearted girl, she never got in trouble. She was the kind to do her homework and turn it in on time. Her time was spent on working to pay for college and getting into a good college, but one fateful night at the end of her senior year party changed her life by one man, woods and a cupcake.

Mason Taylor was a troubled teen. He lost his father when the factory where he worked blew up and took his soul from the world. He began drinking and street racing causing hectic, multiple hospital trips and many arrests. When his mother can't take it anymore she picks up and moves to a small town called Mystic Falls, Mason gets a fresh start. When he races the towns big shot he meets a stranger named Raven and his life changes.
