It was quiet that night, when I took my last breath. The air chilling but quite refreshing when it filled my lungs for the very last time. My eyes fluttered shut as I savored this moment. The stinging of my cheeks in the frostbit air, the occasional breeze that carried my hair with the wind, the fresh air that chillingly burned my lungs as I took it in, and the forest that was silent when I began my decent into the glacial water with my captors nearby. Serena Dayanira Vespertine Since birth, I was groomed into a perfect weapon. A sharp tool for the hands of my mother to use to conquer power. But I wasn't the sharpest amongst her creations. Shadows and darkness were soon my closest friends, they were true loyal ones that would serve me to the Vespertine throne. Koen Kendrick Underground boxing was never the path I wanted but this was my only quick cash to support my family. After the sudden death of my father, my whole life was turned upside down. The pain mother and I had felt when we heard the news... it was all too sudden and my little sister was about to be born. Only after a few years, I have finally balanced my life with boxing and school... or so I thought. The day she caught my attention was the day I was trapped. Our endless encountered moments have led to my unexpected interest in her as I discover many of her secrets. Aleksander De Sullivan Years have passed yet I still vividly remember the little girl I had met as a little boy. A beautiful princess, trapped behind tall gates, keeping her in the palace. The day she smiled so brightly and told me I was like her Prince Charming was the day I heard the bells. And I still hear them ring so loudly even when we are apart. Our parted ways was unfortunate but I was never unaware of her. Watching her from afar felt as if we were still growing up together. Soon, I will return for my gattina and ask for her hand.
