Pat was destined for something great. Apollo himself had said it. The only issue is, no one knows what he's meant to do or how he's involved in the so-called Great Prophecy. Percy is the only son of Poseidon around, which put everyone's eyes on him for an answer, but he didn't have one either. Hoping to find answers for their destinies -- and save Percy's mom along the way --, two adolescent boys take the best middle schoolers Camp Half-Blood has to offer and journey across the country.

This is only the start of the Great Prophecy, however, and Pat and Percy had no idea what war would start once they left the safe haven of the strawberry fields.
