Damian and his best friend, Lewis, have had many adventures together as Pokémon trainers. They could even be mistaken for brothers. Same sense of humor, same interests, similar hobbies... ya know. Nothing has ever separated these two. Nothing. 

Team Ascension, an organization run by a passionate DNA researcher, Dr. Arkane, has a simple objective. To "ascend beyond humanity". As a child, Elizabeth Arkane had ambitions of flying above the clouds alongside her  Swablu. Dreams of big beautiful wings that she could take flight with whenever she wanted. Sounds too good to be true, right?

Well, she's not far from her goal. Using children as her test subjects, she has learned a way to successfully swap the souls and consciousness of humans and Pokémon. This is only step one of her master plan. She hopes to take specific traits from Pokemon, giving humans an insanely effective healing factor, giving them superhuman strength to do jobs far beyond the limits of the human body, infinite stamina to be able to work for days on end, the list goes on.

The Story of Team Hope (Pokemon Story) by whatishappening202

*Will be editing someday soon* 14-year-old Skylar lives in a world full of Pokemon, where you can only catch one type. Skylar trains the dark type, but she has broken the rules. Mark, Skylar's brother, is the leader of Team Hope, and she is second in command. They are trying to turn the world around, to let them have their own Pokemon, not just the ones of their type. Skylar has a Taillow, not a dark type at all. She must go on a mission to retrieve files and destroy a machine the government plans on using to take over Pokemon, located in Snowpoint City. The fate of all Pokemon rests on Skylar, and her pokemon, Absol, Weavile, Houndour, and Taillow. But, of course, she runs into people that she can't just get rid of, the water trainer, Barry, the fighting trainer, Lucas, and the flying trainer, Dawn. How does she cope with having to stay undercover with a bunch of trainers she just met? And how can she keep quiet about the fact she can talk to Pokemon? Well, you have to read it to find out. I do not own pokemon, but I do own my characters. They are from my imagination. Enjoy! Six of these kids who live in this day and age are Vann Vernard, Nyro Slevon, Tierra Devi, Nico Amano, Carmen Princeton and Stephanie Bryon. Each has to take part in these struggles and each has struggles of their own. Vann Vernard has suffered from the loss of his entire family for years, Nyro Slevon has suffered humiliation beyond repair, Tierra Devi lost her title of undefeated, Nico Amano and Carmen Princeton's friendship is threatened by lies and secrets and Stephanie Bryon has to suffer the unfairness that comes with her gift. Read in the perspective of these kids and take a decent slice out of their books. Sit back, relax and well, enjoy the show!
