Charlie Braylen Cooper lived in her beautiful home in New York City, until one night her parents get mugged and shot to death.

She loved New York but she had no relatives there so she had no other option but to move in with her hostess' house that graciously let her stay in before graduating to college. She realizes that her god mother lives all the way across the U.S.. Of course in the beautiful sun shining, L.A. California coast.

When she arrives she has to start school, and with the troubled of making friends and being the new girl, she doesn't have much trouble introducing herself.

Rider Duncan is the hot bad boy of Coastside High. He has the looks, he plays on the football team, he has the attitude, and of course every week a new girlfriend. He is the definition of a player and a bad boy.

But when he gets news of a girl his age coming to stay with him for the next few months until graduation, he doesn't think much of it.

But when he notices she doesn't have any interest in him he makes it a challenge.
