Synne Blackburn gains dangerous pyrokinesis flame powers after a traumatic event, and rather than using it for good, she uses it to take her revenge on the person who she finds to be responsible: Spider-Man. 

After a spell is cast, Synne and many others are teleported to another universe where Synne meets a Peter Parker that is different than the one she once hated. 

Synne sees something in him and wonders if she really can be good for him.
