She was, of course, an American professional wrestler and manager, better known by her ring names, Sherri Martel, Sister Sherri, Sensuous Sherri, Sensational Queen Sherri, and Sensational Sherri.

 Her wrestling career began in the Mid South after training in Columbia, South Carolina.
