Dark Paradise

Caietana de Telane is a murderer.
Two years ago, while the man she loved attempted to kill her, Caietana prayed to the Collector for vengeance. Unfortunately for her, he answered, beginning a vicious cycle of deadly power that Caietana must not only master, but earn.
As people begin appearing with intent to murder her and steal this power for themselves, she is forced to seek refuge under the Collector's protection, and obey the rules that set order in his court. But obedience may come at too high a cost for Caietana to pay.
Weighed down by responsibility she never wanted, an oath she never wished to make, and a deadly attraction she never anticipated, Caietana must face the same questions that have defined her life: love or be loved, hurt or be hurt, kill or be killed?
