After Emma Died is a collection of letters, poems, and other things I imagine people would write after a girl committed suicide.
VERY loosely based on me.
PLEASE NOTE: This story contains references to suicide, familial abuse, drug use, and more.
(I will update this warning as I rewrite.)
Also Note: This story basically sucks a lot and you definitely shouldn't read it if you're considering commuting suicide or if you're not in a good mental place. Your safety is a thousand times more important than my shitty story.

This diary consists of short 1 month period. The girl, Emma confides in her feelings, her thoughts, her day and her tragedies. There are going to be twists and a really sad ending. Live this one month with Emma. Understand the kind of woman she is. "It's 1st of December, 2012. I received this thick black spiraled diary as a gift from my late mother. She always said that this diary would show me more patience than people and I should write my heart out when there's no one special enough to listen... to confide in. It was my 12th birthday. I'm 16 now and guess what? I really don't have anyone to share my crazy thoughts or stupid feelings. If I ever start doing it... People would assume me mentally sick and tie me to a chair and start stuffing me with aspirins and sedatives. And that's definitely not the way I want to go down. Emma, the sweetest girl you'll meet, but doesn't lead the sweetest life you'll see. Follow Emma on her journey of families, friends, betrayal, bullies, abuse and .... would she ever be able to open up her stepbrothers. (Please don't pay too much attention on all the side characters this story is more about her brothers) *contains graphic words. Very abusive storyline. Completely fiction don't get too pumped up. Don't read if u don't like this type of story, it's kinda abusive so ya brace urself.

"Actually I do. I'm working", I said with no emotion at all. They didn't deserve it. They don't get to know how I have felt through the years without them, I'm happy here. "Look Stone, Im not that 6 year old you can just boss around and fuck over anymore, I can take care of myself, Ive been doing that for my whole life so far, so why not the rest, so either order something or get the fuck out", I said to him getting faster and faster as I spoke. The boys gasped when I swore at Stone. He, on the other hand, looked furious. Matilda is 16 years old, with 5 older brother, 5 terrifying older brothers in who she hates with a passion. They left her to deal with their father wrath, to live their own lives far away. She now lives alone, in a dangerous and dirty neighbourhood, but she doesn't care, as long as she is far away from those she is suppose to call family. But when they all turn up for Christmas, hoping for happy times and warm hugs, she is instilled with fear and pure anger. Will she accept them, or will they stop trying? I wrote this a long time ago, when I was 14/15, a time when self harm was something that seemed to just be everywhere in my life. I apologise to anyone who read this before I put this notice here, but I'm pretty sure in every chapter there is some sort of mention of mental illness/self harm. I know I could just take the story down, but it was one of the first ever stories I wrote that I liked and completed, and although I admit now it's not great, it shows progress.
