Scarlett and Navarro have been dating since they were 13 they've had there problems but they've always managed to find each other again even when they weren't looking for it. 

A long relationship seems all good and it is it's amazing you have someone to talk to all the time and at night you get to cuddle next to them and fall sleep to there heartbeat but good things only end good in movies and for Scarlett her relationship isn't going to end well it's her only chance to keep Navarro interested in her 

but when she falls pregnant at 17 right in the mix of picking out colleges and scouting out places you'd wanna live. College essays and senior projects, prom, senior trip all the activities you've waited your entire school life to endure but when Scarlett finds out her period is way later the normal Navarro seems to have no interest in slowing down his life for a baby which starts to give Scarlett the cold shoulder
