Xiao, a vampire hunter was tasked by his master, Lord Rex Lapis, to capture a 𝙬𝙞𝙩𝙘𝙝. Well-..not exactly capture on the spot, but to learn about their abilities first.

He was tasked with what they called him, "The Windriddened Witch", Barbatos.  Xiao was to be stuck in a child like form for about 5 months to learn the art of witchcraft from an actual witch itself.

Word Count: 67,658 AN: This is a polyam ship of Venti Xiao and Aether, so don't like, don't read Ig. While this is polyam, VenXiao is more love at first sight, whilst AeVen and Xiaother are more slowburn. The first three chapters are simply for context, and completely skippable if you've played through Liyue's archon and Xiao's story quests. Also, I'm using Aether instead of Lumine because he's the traveler I picked.

Everything from Liyue, to Mondstadt, to the ends of Teyvat are nothing to the beauty of the god right in front of him. Oceans could never be bluer than the tips of his braids, grass could never be greener than the palette of his clothes, flowers could never be prettier than the cecilia stitched onto his hat. Alatus thinks Barbatos may be mistaken. He says that this cliff is the only place where it feels as though one could pluck the stars straight from the sky, the only place that reaches high enough to the heavens to grasp at the ethereal. But when Barbatos is so close just like this, it feels as though Alatus could pluck the twinkle of stars straight from the azure skies of his eyes, like he could simply reach out and run his tentative touch along the epitome of divine grace. Or: The five times Xiao's outstretched fingers chase the winds and the one time they don't have to.

Every time they go run place to place, the lose one person, but they must keep going in order to survive.. | most of the parts may line up with the show "All of us are dead" "Go! Get out of here! Run! For me!.." Xiao shouted for the last remaining survivor to run for his life as he continues to get piled at by a bunch of the undead, being bitten as more hoards of deads come, Venti, the 'last' survivor. Now at least, because Xiao has given up himself to the deads to save him, Xiao sacrificed himself, and he is watching him, plenty of deads continuously pile all over him, not caring for Venti only caring for the smell of blood Xiao leaks, leaving nothing but his head and his bloody arm reaching out and pointing for Venti to scram before they got to him too, he couldn't do anything but stand there, tearing up as he watches Xiao bled, covered in his own blood, all Venti could do was just watch him get bitten, all over again. Venti slowly backed away from him and them, Xiao was barely visible since he got covered by deads. Venti covered his mouth to silence and muffle his own screams. Avoiding to make any noise to attract Zombies. His eyes swelling from all his crying, he walked backwards before turning around and running away, Venti leaves droplets of his tears as he ran and ran '𝐢'𝐦 𝐬𝐨𝐫𝐫𝐲, 𝚾𝐢𝐚𝐨...' Venti thought as he reaches closer and closer to the quarantine center. Removing his hand from his mouth, screaming the name "Xiao"
