Parallel to the world of humans exists another dimensional space.  This dimension is know to those who travel to it as Agramon or Realm of Emotion. This Realm is inhabited by two groups. The first are the Kansate.  These are the Manifestations  of the emotions of human beings into creatures and objects. The second are humans who by way of chance have entered Agramon, the Kanjo Abita or simply the Arbiters. It is the role of the Arbiters the travel between Agramon and the Human world and while in Agramon work to balance the emotions of human beings by keeping the population of the Manifestations stable in regard to individual human beings. Manifesting a unique power to use to for-fill this Job. However most of these Arbiters did not choose to have the responsibility of stabilizing peoples emotions thrust upon them nor do they all fully comprehend the price they pay for this. The Inability to arbitrate their own emotions. The emotions of humans who become arbiters do not manifest in Argamon. 

Daisuke Suzugaki, Is an average Japanese high school student moving into his second year of senior high school. His life is fairly average but his future always uncertain. Taking life one day at a time Daisuke lives peacefully surrounded by his friends hoping that one day he will be able to have a life  that he can be proud of. Little does he know that soon  he will be thrust into a world of adventure. Though a simple encounter with one girl his life will be turned from simple care free living to  constant struggle and pain.
