It's been a couple months since the events of what happened at the Mega Pizzaplex. Gregory freed Vanessa and she adopted him. Vanessa kept her job due to how much money she was making and how useful having that money was when taking care of a child. Vanessa is trying her best to take care of Gregory while still being traumatized herself. It's a process but hopefully she'll be able to heal, right? During the last month of school for Gregory he learned how to make flower crowns! This spirals to Gregory becoming fascinated by plants, specifically flowers as a whole and plans to give the animatronics a bit of nature since they aren't allowed outside the Pizzaplex. Or Gregory learns how to make flower crowns, goes to the Pizzaplex and is a chaotic child who gets bored easily and does research on flowers. He's determined to show the animatronics part of the world that they don't get to see. Meanwhile Vanessa still isn't over what happened while she was Vanny. For many years, a certain pizzeria was the place a young girl used to go to as a child. She loved coming here almost everyday to spend time with her favorite animatronics. There is one in particular who stands out to her, because he is the only one who is different from the rest at the time. And she believed in her heart that he might have been alive and her true friend. However, one day after leaving the restaurant, a tragedy occurs before she can reach home. One that would change her life forever, and returning to that restaurant was out of the question. At least for ten years. It is not until she needs a job that she finds herself returning to the restaurant as a night guard and meeting the animatronic she used to love as a friend for the first time in ten years somehow brings up on feelings. Mostly because of what happened ten years ago. When she settles into the first night, believing things will be boring and slow, she discovers that the animatronics might be more than they appear. Especially her favorite animatronic, and she soon learns that he did not take it well when she did not return. She had never thought he would even remember her...but as time passes by, she learns that the animatronics are more than they appear. And the owner of the restaurant seems to be the key to this whole thing.

DISCLAIMER: This is a fanmade novelization of the video game of the same name created by Scott Cawthon and the company Steel Wool Studios. I do not own the rights to FNaF, nor do the creators have any involvement. This was made mostly to serve as a love letter to anyone who's grown up with FNaF since it debuted in 2014 and a thank you to Scott who is now retiring considering he's retiring from the franchise, game development, as well as his entire career so that he can spend more time with his family. Also, since this is a novelization, a few changes were made to the events of the game, such as adding in more information and removing unnecessary puzzles, to make it flow better in novel form.
