A New War always comes with new players. It's been five years since the most dangerous man alive had been killed by the hands of Captain John Price. After doing so, he had been arrested, and put in Prison for life. Now, a new player steps in, by the name of Misha Yanovich. Since Makarov's death in Dubai, Yanovich had been busy, capturing U.S soldiers, doing arms deals, and preparing for total war in the U.S. Price is eventually broken out of prison, by an anonymous group of U.S soldiers. He is then brought back into the U.S, and pardoned for what had happened many years ago. It is up to the renewed Task Force 141 to stop Yanovich, and end the chaos he plans to cause, once and for all.

"We have to stop meeting like this, John." You watch as the facial features of the men around you shift from disdain to thinly veiled confusion. John Price spins around from the table he was leaning over and his eyes lock with yours. "God fucking damn it." --- Years ago when you were both younger, Lt. John Price captured you for the first time. You made the man an offer that he couldn't refuse because what is more useful on the battlefield than an enemy of your enemy? You have knowledge of where Shepherd has been hiding out and who he has chosen as confidants. You know that Price has information about the Russian Ultranationalists that have been plaguing your country. You purposefully laid out bread crumbs for his dogs to follow and allowed yourself to be captured so that you could maintain your image amongst your men. No one had to know that you were a confidential informant for the enemy military's special forces.
