Parker and Blake were always friends in the friend group out of the six of them.

 It's almost graduation and it's almost prom. Football is coming to an end and college acceptance and rejection letters are coming in the mail which puts the stakes high for the group. Especially for Evan and Parker.

While Parker has a happy relationship with Evan, Blake is looking for the right person to come and for a prom date.

So he asks Parker to be his wing-woman. No problem, right? Wrong. Feelings change, people get hurt, chaos occurs, and love fails. They don't even realize it, but during this long bumpy journey to the end, they're both falling for each other.

High school seniors, Sierra Laurken, Cameron Davis, and Parker Sanchez play volleyball on their school's team in Tampa, Florida within their home town. The girls were like a family together.

The three girls' last high school year comes with their last season together. Three months to play and scream with their hearts. 

High school seniors, Kaydon Murphy, Blake Davis, and Ty Shruder play football on their school's team in Tampa, Florida. The three guys moved away from their home neighborhood to live somewhere else far away from the small neighborhoods and ended up living with Blake's dad.

The guys and girls split being on bad terms. It was no visiting, no texts, no calls, nothing. It was a rule to not even mention their names anymore. 

Until the girls' first game of the season is at the boys' high school. It was all going great but a little surprise afterwards was a shocker for them all and the boys moving back giving everyone a wave of emotions.

Will the group ever become close like how they used to be? Will relationships begin? It all comes down to this year.

Laying low in general was a good strategy. Across town, Ryan was prepping for his final year in high school. While he wasn't the stereotypical quarterback of the football team, he did fit into the popular crowd. His sports of choice included basketball and soccer, either of which might line him up for a scholarship next year. Ryan had a group of close friends and a lot of adoring acquaintances. It wasn't easy juggling his athletics and keeping the grades up, but he was just that good. The supporting parents didn't hurt either. It might be a cliché romance, but it will be fun to see what the year and beyond holds. ------------------------------------------ This is a story I wrote years ago, or at least partially wrote.
