Harmony and her best friend Oran are struggling to make their way into high school. Oran is the talker and Harmony is less than a quiet shy person.  Harmony is basically mute, wearing a bandanna around the lower part of her face, and only barely talking to Oran. Oran isn't having a lot of struggle, the struggle for her is her grades and trying to help Harmony be a socialized human.  Harmony's different.

Bit more different than what you'd expect.

Things start changing, however, when her best friend, Kazuki, starts acting weirdly. She has to deal with mood swings, cryptic messages and random disappearances. Every day, he tells her something in a different language. He never tells her what it means, though. Then one day, he disappears completely and Harmony doesn't know what to do. She needs her best friend back, even if he does come with cryptic messages and mood swings.
