"I'm sorry. I'm so sorry Eloise." She was full on crying now and just like the pig that he was Jacob bursted through the door. He looked worried as he hurried over to Elaine to check on her. He wrapped an arm around her waist, the hoodie tightened around her belly and it was then that I noticed her small bump. So that's why she took my hoodie.

Was he standing outside the whole time?

She nodded at something he said. I would've heard what it was had I not turned to look at the adonis that was standing at the door.

"Mate" I head a voice whisper in my head

I looked around the room but it didn't look like anyone had spoken.

What the hell was that?

I didn't have time to ponder on it too long as at the same time the voice whispered, he...the Adonis was standing in-front of me.

"Mate." He said as his hand caressed my cheek softly.

I felt little sparks from where he touched and my body got all warm and fuzzy inside.

I heard both my sister and that asshat gasp from behind us.

I quickly snapped out of it.

"Do not fucking touch me you perv." Slapping his hand away.

I felt slight pain inside my chest and the voice inside howled lowly.

An involuntary whimper left my mouth at the sound of the howl and the man in-front me visibly stiffened at the sound of my whimper. A permanent scowl on his face as he tried his best to hide the worry plastered there.

"Eloise wh..." Jacob tried to say but I was in no mood.

"Fuck you Jacob."

And with that I left the room.

Ignoring the howling that got louder with every step I took away from the stranger.
