Everything in her body is screaming at her to look up, to let her eyes frantically scan the area until she can identify him, but she knows that will not end well. She needs to look down, stare at her feet, and pray to God that he leaves. It's been weeks, Arrow thought he finally gave up, that she was finally free from him, but clearly she was wrong.
Her hearing starts to flicker in and out. Everything is spinning, and she can feel him getting closer. She squeezes her eyes shut. Why the hell is he here? Why right now? This doesn't make any sense.
Everything else around her disappears from her thoughts. All she can focus on is the tall man, the tall man with no face, the tall man with no face that's probably standing right behind her. It feels like every last ounce of breath has left her lungs.
"Please leave." She whispers. "Please leave."
He doesn't.
