Nineteen year old Ilan Riel is an intern at the University of Saskatchewan, and although he doesn't want to make any friends –or simply believes that he can't– push comes to shove, and a few awkward social situations later, he ends up with a cute blonde guy for a best friend. He isn't too sure what happens when you start to fall in love with your best friend, however... but all he knows is that it can't end well.
