Though, the greatest number was of a life as an assassin; the terrifying horrors of a young killer for The Red Room.
However, no matter how much one would pry and nag into her life, the Black Widow never budged in her secrecy. No tale would escape her lips, no adventure from her heart would be told. Thus, less than a handful knew what her past had done to her, what scars it had left behind. And even fewer knew the worst story of all.
The story that left Natasha Romanoff with an incurable wound, a regret bigger than life itself.
Though, unknown to her, her greatest mistake did not result in what she believed.
The little girl she thought to be dead was still alive.
