She can still smell the winter sunlight on the cracked pavements and hear the chatter of aunties basking on their rooftops. She always knew there was no sense behind these cities or streets, nothing was planned- but somehow, she knew nothing else would've made sense. In her neighbourhood, everything that exists, exists in the moment. What was in only in memory, and what is to come is only in dreams.
