The Emerald Necklace

Carl Asher had a problem. From the time he was a child, he's loved shiny objects and it was never really an issue until now. The night of his work party, he met a girl, but she wasn't the one he'd initially noticed. It was the emerald necklace around her neck. Little did he know that when he decided to seek possession of the necklace, that he would be faced with a challenge and a girl who was more than she seemed.
