Reading the title, you'd think my name is Rose. But it isn't. My name is Thea and my life feels like a rose. I start off as a seed and as I learn new things and experience new things, I slowly begin to sprout. My rose has been closed, stuck, for some time. I feel like I've accomplished everything but nothing seems to make it bloom.
That doesn't happen until I meet him. The Christopher Evans. I wouldn't have imagined the only thing to make my life complete was to have him in it. Every part of me wants to shove him out, and at one point it does, but he just keeps coming back.
My flower blooms, my rose shines in the bright sun. In the Life of a Rose...

As a movie critque who's directed, acted, and did something pertaining to film, judging others' work was more interesting. Champagne and a whole lot of toasting, greeting, and a lot of fake smiles; lights, camera, action!
~Complete~Phoenix Rudd was 23 when she joined her dad on the press tour for his latest movie, Avengers Endgame. While the whole cast is out one night, she hits it off with Captain America himself, Chris Evans. Over the next several weeks as he continues to promote the movie, they are seen out together and when the premiere comes around, she attends as his date. But after the premieres and away from the cameras, things change. He's constantly inviting his frat boys over when she visits and blows off her hesitations like it's no big deal. Things come to a head after Halloween, when photos surface online of how Chris spent the spookiest night of the year, and it's not with her. They fight, and he ends it, leaving her broken as she runs home to her dad's.
Years later, she's written a bestseller about a young woman with stars in her eyes and the older guy who slowly dimmed them. At a press event for her book they meet again and it's just as complicated as ever. Has he grown enough to own up to his mistakes? And if he has, is she ready or willing to forgive him?
