"What if Harmony taught Oliver how to be a gentleman?" I laughed first. It was probably the hardest I've ever laughed since middle school. "You're so funny, Carly." "I'm not joking. I want you to help my son be a better man." The happy expression on my face slowly started to fall apart. My eyes fluttered over to Oliver who was chewing out the bartender. I've known Oliver since I was born. He was never a protector, I was. He was never the prodigy child, I was. Even worse, Oliver was always being compared to me, I doubt that he would enjoy his comparison being his mentor. Frankly, he's kind of a lost cause at this point. "I'm not a miracle worker, Carly. I don't know how I could help him." "Nonsense! You're more than capable of turning him into a gentleman. The heiress to your family's business, a child prodigy, proper, a role model, a great woman overall. Not to mention, you're childhood friends. Who better to straighten him out than someone who watched him grow?"
