Dante had been waiting for this day to come for what seems like forever. Tomorrow he turns 21 and is finally able to receive his role as a member of society. Once someone turns 21 they are brought to the Town Hall where they are put in front of other members of the community and given a role that they'll perform to make a living. There's doctors and firefighters, teachers and cooks too. 

But when given his role, Dante finds that there's only one other person to have his particular role. To make matters worse, they disappeared from the town not long after turning 21. Unsure of how to make a living with his role, Dante must find a way to earn his living and uncover what happened to that other person.

Aku was 18 years old, he was also the best player of Swords of Magic the VRMMORPG which was based on leveling your character along with his skills, completing quests, fighting other players for sake of having fun. Aku was a solo player he never had friends in the game nor in real life he was spending all of his time to make his character better. He farmed the best equipment which was available and also got the Ring of Death which allowed him to kill or deprive his opponents from HP.
