He still can't forgive himself for what he's done during his Winter Solider days. He sees Steve with her and realizes he might be too late and that she might not ever get to be his. He thinks he deserves to be loved too.

(Hitting the target each time like he did) She grew more intelligent with regular informative lectures with Dr. Banner. She was the ultimate Avenger, but Sarah however always felt as though her father wanted to keep her hidden from the world, but it wasn't all that he was hiding. Alternate narrative and storyline to the MCU.
