It's been 1 year after Maeve died and Spencer is still grieving over her. The team try to get him to do on dates but he always declines. One day Hotch brings his adopted daughter to work for the BAU her name is Dr Siobhan Hotchner, she has an IQ of 188, she has a photographic memory, has 4 PHDs and 2 BAs and can read 21,000 words per minute. Even thou Siobhan is adopted Hotch treats her like his own, when Hotch introduces Siobhan to the team everyone is confused and they say that Siobhan is adopted but why she was adopted is still unknown, but when a new case comes up Hotch's and Siobhan's dark secret will have to be revealed to catch the killer but they won't give it up.
Will Spencer persuade Siobhan to give the secret up? In the process will they fall in love? Find out in 'The Newbie'.
