When I wrote my first fanfic A Love Like Ours I was extremely conflicted early on in the story, I couldn't decide which of two paths I wanted to take. And the further I traveled down rabbit hole that became A Love Like Ours, The more I was left wondering how my characters would have handled the vastly different path I almost set them on.
