After Johnny found out that Vivian had decided against putting Faith up for adoption, he did the only thing he could do, and began to help raise the child, beginning a strange co parenting relationship with Vivian.

Fast forward and the two have things somewhat figured out, going back and forth between Johnny's mansion, and Vivian's apartment as he continues his career with his band and Vivian graduates veterinary school, now a licensed vet tech.
