WILBUR SOOT//From District 4, a young sailor, Maris O'Brien is reaped for the 85th Hunger Games. Just a few hundred miles away, in District 2, Wilbur Soot volunteers in place of his younger brother. Both are in circumstances they never wished to find themselves--Wilbur is at home amongst books and sheets of music, and Maris is more comfortable on the deck of a ship than she is in the Capitol. Wilbur and Maris will need to make a choice: will they succumb to the calls of violence or will they find solace in this arena populated with barbarity and cruelty?
