Before the chaos of Blackwater, before the gang was torn and ripped apart. Back when people were happy, money was being made. How the group of outlaws and orphans became known as the Van der linde gang.
However this time round a young Katherine Van der linde was amongst the gunslingers, wanting to prove herself in a man's world, avenge her mother's brutal death. Whilst being drawn closer to her father's favourite right hand man as he helps train her to survive in this cold and dangerous world.
Before rdr2,
all characters except Katherine are from rdr2 (rockstar) along with the overlying plot, however this storyline is completely mine (until 1899 obvs)

Isabella Monroe is a college student who is struggling to make ends meet. She works constantly and college is giving her a real kick in the pants.. Her roommate Lindsay is the complete opposite. While they both are attending college, Lindsay's parents send her money every week unlike her counterpart. She doesn't quite understand Isabella's struggle. One night, a very hard day in particular for Isabella, Lindsay tells her to relax and play her new game which so happened to be Red Dead Redemption 2. Isabella refuses because she's not a gamer and she's absolutely exhausted which Lindsay never understands..but she instead agrees to watch her and chills with a beer in hand.. but hours go by and Lindsay somehow convinces her to play. She instantly gets hooked to the story and the character Arthur Morgan. It's like a book but the details and the visuals quench her every need in ways that a book couldn't. That night she decides to look for clues and secrets online..but her phone acts weird. She accidentally opened a "dark browser" that hacks her PS4 and phone. She waves it off as if it is nothing and goes to bed...but when she wakes up, her whole life has changed.. to her disbelief she wakes up in the cool hills of the Cumberland Forest. A mysterious voice from above offers her a deal, if she saves Arthur, she can come home. The kicker is.. she only has five chances to save him or...game over.Lengkap
Under The Eyes of The Wolf (an rdr2 Arthur Morgan x oc story)
Following a botched robbery attempt in the town of Blackwater, the van der Linde gang now took shelter from the harsh, unforgiving elements in an old abandoned mining settlement known as Colter, deep in the snowy mountains. They are cold, hungry and unsure of what their futures hold. As Arthur Morgan is out desperately trying to track down game to bring back and feed to the starving gang he stumbles across an animal unlike any even he, in all of his travels, has ever seen before. As he crouches in the snow, his focus in its entirety directed at the animal before him, a stranger catches him by surprise. A WOMAN. As she cautiously holds him at gunpoint she explains the story behind the incredible animal before allowing him to go on his way. In the hours and days following the encounter he can't decide if this woman's presence in the same desolate, snow covered wilderness as he and the gang are in is mere coincidence or if there's more behind it than she's letting on. If it is pure coincidence that she's there than what is she doing alone on this frozen mountain? Whatever has brought her into his life he isn't sure but what he does know is he can't get her image out of his mind. Her intense red hair along with her piercing gaze that seems to stare right through him. As he attempts to find out more about her he convinces himself it's strictly out of caution. It's his responsibility to make sure that she's harmless and poses no threat to them but somehow deep down he already knows the only thing she poses a threat to is his heart. Warnings: will contain adult themes, adult language, sexual situations and dialogue, smut, violence, mentions of sexual abuse and other topics not suitable for children under 18. Dutch Van der Linde, Hosea Matthews, and their adopted progeny look different in 1891. Mostly peaceful, largely law-abiding (with some natural exceptions)...the tensions between Arthur Morgan and John Marston revolve not around the pull of a trigger but the daughter of Dutch Van der Linde, who John has grown up loving, and Arthur's just come to notice. How will their shifting affections affect, in turn, the motley family they've built? *** This is a new prequel to the events of Red Dead Redemption 2, featuring an OC, Dutch's daughter Emmylou "Lou" Van der Linde. A heads-up that I did write a short with Dutch's daughter in it a while back ("Three Protégés", in the Bellicose collection, but this one will be different. Mostly romance, some darker themes coming in (can't help myself). Definitely 18+! All characters from RDR2 belong to Rockstar Games.
