Iris was a little girl with a dream, a dream to know what was beyond the stars. She studied hard but seemingly got lucky when she discovered a new planet. After assembling a team they travel to this new world to observe, but end up finding something that should have never been found. An ancient race, The Aizid. Things soon become hairy for the team and things become a life or death situation.

In order to embark on a mission to discover alien life on the icy moon of Jupiter Maria must leave her life on Earth behind, including her father and her seven-year-old son Diego. She thought the hardest part of the mission would be saying goodbye, but little does she know what awaits her and her crew on Europa, an environment that has never been explored from the surface until this mission. Perhaps alien life was never meant to be explored by humans... Will she fulfill her promise to her father and son to make it home alive, or will she fail to make good on that promise like her mother did when she was a little girl? Note: This story was written during a challenge to write an entire book in one week! It doesn't make sense. How is any of it possible? Where does the plot line link? Why care about some random teen aliens? Oh, God, why does it get dark so fast? Her existence is a solitary one, despite the comforts afforded by the design of the ship, which includes an interactive A.I. meant for recreation. When the A.I. begins to make unexpected decisions on its own, threatening the delicate balance between life and death that exists on the planet's surface, Eve finds herself making discoveries both exciting and terrifying while her own memories of Earth blend with her reality.Complete
The Cave
Five co-workers and a guide struggle with a creature, a live relic from the past and from another dimensional plane. The creature is simultaneously lizard and birdlike, while also having anthropoidic characteristics. Once upon a time, this alien race made contact with a lost human Civilization in the region. The two races initially made an alliance, but the greed of some of the humans caused a war to erupt. The discovery and cursory inspection of the cave by one of the characters results in an impromptu, amateur tour. During the journey through the cave one of the co-workers, through a combination of stubbornness, curiosity and willfulness, becomes separated. He stumbles upon a cache of interesting artifacts inside of an oddly inhuman room with alien technology. It is in these confines where he unlocks the being whose last memories of human interaction are still freshly stinging its memory. The group grapples through the tenuous caves trying to escape the creature's vengeful wrath. The ensuing mad flight from the cave to relative safety results in a battle for survival.Complete
