Siliac Brown has always wondered what "normal" meant. She was far from normal. Her appearance wasn't normal, and the small town she lived in wasn't normal either. She didn't live a normal life at "home" with a normal family, if she could call her demon of an aunt family. Her school life wasn't normal, either. While she was fairly competent academically, she has to deal with bullies and her own depression. Just as Siliac thought her life couldn't be any more abnormal, a certain encounter with a few individuals land Siliac in a world with people like her. People with abnormal appearances, habits, and to her shock: different kinetic abilities.  As Siliac accustoms to her new life, she learns about a clan who fight back against those with kinetic abilities. Joined by new allies (and possibly new friends), Siliac embarks on a journey to prevent the uprising. However, there might be an even greater threat looming behind them, a force led by a powerful leader with a single message: the weak are not truly weak.
