How would you feel if you were taken? If you wake up on a wet cement floor in the middle of a cell after falling asleep in the comfort of your own sheets? How would you manage if you were tortured and the other half of you was in threat of being taken away? How would you YOU feel if your world was taken away from you and turned upside down and in your weakest moment you a rescued by your so called mate? 


Adrianna is a 17 year old girl who is apart of the River Ash pack. After her 17th birthday she wakes up to realise that she was being held captive, she is tortured until she finds a way to escape, but its not long before time catches up to her. Her wolf has to completely go dormant, because it's just causing her pain and she would died of she didn't. Alex thinks that she's dead, because he felt the connection between them break. He finds another girl to be his mate, and when Ashleigh is found, she is heartbroken. Not only was it her pack that made her suffer through all that because they sold her, but her mate had given up on her because her wolf had to go into dormancy. She falls into severe depression, and develops a form of PTSD, that was formed from the shock she had from her pack and mate's betrayal. She isn't happy anymore, and that brightness she had in her personality is gone, leaving a husk of her former self. Will her pack and mate right their terrible wrongs, and bring her back to her former glory, or will they carry on with how they are, and have her fall into a comatose like state?
