Alexi wakes up in the box with her memories. But It was no accident. This was meant to happen. WICKED has everything planed down to the second somebody breaths. She is on a mission to deliver a message for WICKED to the subjects in the maze. But she is also on her own mission. It's her fault everyone is in that hell hole and she is going to try and set things right between her and her bestfriend Newt (or atleast he used to be.), and make sure that nobody she cares about dies along the way. Can she do it? Will she rescue everyone from the maze and get them to the safe haven? Will she keep thoughs who aren't immune safe from the flare? Will she keep herself safe? There's only one way to find out....

 Newtmas is canon but is not the main point of the book

Small cuts and bruises which could be felt by the other person weren't an issue. It was when WICKED chose to begin putting people in the maze, putting their lives at stake, causing them to endure more than just physical pain was when things became dangerous. The story is inspired by the movies only, because the lore of the books goes quite deep and I don't think I will be able to write up to a standard that honors James Dashner's amazing legacy. Also, Eleanor is named after Eleanor Roosevelt which sticks to the idea that all main characters are named after famous scientists, inventors, and activists. Finally, this will be a three-part book for each movie and just to clarify, no smut! [EDIT 1] My work is currently undergoing some revisions. I wrote this 5 years ago, and needless to say, some of the dialogue, scenes, wording, and overall feel is quite childish. Not all of it, but some of it. I've decided to revisit my original first story and make it better. The story is definitely much more mature now, and I think everyone will enjoy it better now that the tone has changed to fit the melancholy nature of my story. Thanks in advance. Thomas gets a chance at redemption when he is offered a seemingly impossible task: plant an idea in someone's mind. If he succeeds, Thomas and his fellow gladers will have succeeded in bringing back a long lost friend. But a dangerous enemy anticipates his every move.
