Miriam and Anna have lost their entire family; their mother was killed while they were living in the Lodz Ghetto, and their father disappeared after he left for his job at a factory outside of the walled compound their family called home for the last several years. The two sisters were transported to Auschwitz in 1944, and while Miriam seduces a morally corrupt Nazi officer who can give them a chance at freedom, Anna has begun gathering compromising documents of Doctor Mengele's human experiments and other evidence of the atrocities committed in the camp at her job working for the commander. But as Anna begins to fall ill, Miriam's lover becomes more and more unpredictable, and the ally forces near the camp with every passing day, the sister's future seems to be completely unknown and unpredictable.

*Highest rank #1 on the Hebrew Site, 24/04/17* True story. I heard the story of Miriam many years ago in an interview that would probably have been lost in history, but from the first moment I knew it had to be written. I could not let it go. So, under the influence of Anne Frank's diary, I travelled around 80 years back in time to write a diary from Miriam's point of view as a child. I decided to publish the diary because it was the promise I had given her, in the hope that it was never really too late...to live only among the words left behind. ~~~ Feel free to comment and ask Q. This story is being translated from Hebrew, my native language, so forgive me for any grammar mistake (If you notice any, I would like to know!)❤️
