Two, a high-profile assassin has been sent on a mission to eliminate Sage Smith the son of a wealthy business tycoon. "Can you take a clear shot from your position " "it'll be as easy as taking candy from a baby" Two boasted. Sage suddenly looks over his shoulder, his eye line focused on her. It was so abrupt that it distorted her train of thoughts. She felt her heart drop to her stomach with goosebumps appearing on her skin. Her hand clung tightly to the pistol that was concealed in her jacket. Could he see her? The encounter which lasted no more than 5 seconds felt like hours to her, as he turned right back and continues with his call "take the shot Two!" her partner's voice rang through the earpiece when he noticed she was hesitant "take the shot, what are you waiting for?" This second sentence was enough to pull her from any trance she was momentarily caught in. Just as his fingers came in contact with the electric car door, Two pulls out her pistol and takes the shot, allowing the bullet to run free and claim the life of its target.

Blood splattered across the stone floor, the metallic scent thick in the air. Footsteps echoed down the hollow, deliberate, hunting. Her pulse thundered. She spun, dagger pointed, eyes scanning the shadows. Then-arms wrapped around her waist from back side , firm. Her breath caught in her throat as a figure pulled her back against him. The world seemed to still. Every muscle in her body screamed danger. She gritted her teeth, fingers tightening around the hilt of her blade. One strike and she could end it- but then a voice, low and familiar, slipped through the silence. "I think my baby is tired of killing people..." Her entire body frozen. That voice,That unbearable mix of tenderness. She dared not answer. Warm breath brushed her ear as he leaned closer. His lips are in the curve of her neck. The touch sent a shiver racing through her-half terror, half something she refused to name it . Her chest rose and fell, every breath shallow, broken. "I don't think I can hold back, lana ..." he whispered, the words curling into her skin. Her heart raged against her ribs. She clutched the dagger tighter, fighting against herself, against him, against the storm inside her. But when she finally spoke, her voice was raw, breathless, betraying everything she wanted to hide. "Just... give me the kiss already."
