Seth brings with himself a world of hate that Meg doesn't think she's ready to face just yet. She doesn't think she can return to the days of her childhood, and Seth being around is exactly what she's being forced to do.
All the while, Meg and Jay play liaison between Earth, the inhabitants of whom will never believe their story, and the Nowe-rens who claim they only want to help.
In the first instalment of three, Meg and Jay must try to complete dangerous missions to assist the Nowe-rens in saving the Earth - or so they think.
