Roxy Mercer, a seventeen year old who bounced from foster home to foster home finally gets to settle in one final one before she becomes of age. There she meets Darius Valentino, the typical bad boy that flashes red flags and mystery with a similar background to hers. Even with that, they stupidly fall in love and plan a future together until it all hits the wall when Darius gets hit with a two year prison sentence that was a set up by his father, who just happens to be a mob boss.
